It seems like every summer transfer window is a big one for Newcastle United.
The Magpies ended the season in a more-than-respectable 12th position, but fans had to endure a relegation battle for large parts of the season.
While Steve Bruce always maintained his side would pull away from the danger zone once key men such as Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson returned from injury, United's head coach has also admitted he wants to strengthen his squad if they are to make progress in the Premier League next season.
With that in mind, we asked fans how this summer SHOULD go for Newcastle. You responded but, having supported a club run by Mike Ashley for 14 years, many responses were supplemented with predictions for how it WILL go based on past experience...

toon1892: "Hopefully Willock stays, we get a strike partner for Wilson and we use our Academy rather than wasting millions upon millions on transfers."

BobbyDazlar: "A takeover absolutely must happen. We must sign Willock, or a player like him. Along with two to three other players who are just as effective. I don’t think a new coaching staff/ manger is as important as these things."
