Once the Ravens released Eric Weddle on Tuesday, Chargers fans were split. Some still love the player and feel like he got a raw deal. Others feel like he brought a lot of what happened on himself. Bridges were burned. It’s very unlikely that Weddle will return to the Chargers, given how everything played out.
That will not stop former teammates from expressing how they feel. Weddle, no matter how you feel about him, was one of the better Chargers to play during the 2000’s. He was phenomenal. Players loved him. Chargers stud WR Keenan Allen still does, apparently:
Allen has had quite a day on Twitter and it’s not even noon on Wednesday.
Allen felt disrespected that PFF gave him an elite grade, but didn’t include him in the elite wide receivers, and he took to twitter.
PFF did not do themselves any favors with their response. Oh, twitter.
