Keen hillwalker missing in Aberdeen as police launch urgent search for pensioner

A keen hillwalker has been reported missing in Aberdeen sparking a frantic police search.

Concerns are growing for Robin Green who hasn't been seen since Wednesday morning.

The 75-year-old was last seen in the Union Street and Bridge Street area of the city at around 10.45am.

He is described as white with very short grey hair and clean shaven. He is around 5ft 11in tall, average build with blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a multi coloured red jumper with a shirt underneath with combat trousers and a dark coloured jacket.

He is known to walk the hills of the Upper and Lower Deeside area.

Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for information which could help trace Robin Green who has been reported missing in Aberdeen.

"The 75-year-old was last seen 10.45 am on Wednesday 22 December in the Union Street/Bridge Street area of the city.

"He may have been seen in the Broomhill Road/Holburn area prior to this."

Anyone who believes they may have seen Robin or who has any information can call 101, quoting incident 2469 of 22 December 2021.
