Keeley Bunker death: Teenager charged with murder after body found in woods

A teenager has been charged with murder after the body of a young woman was discovered in woodland.

Police believe the woman is Keeley Bunker, 20, who was last seen around 4am on Thursday in Tamworth, near Birmingham.

Wesley Streete, 19, of Tamworth, will appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday morning, charged with murder.

Paramedics from were called to Roman Way shortly after 9pm on Thursday, following reports of a person in a nearby stream.

The ambulance service found the woman but said nothing could be done to save her.

One note read: "Keeley, sending you all my love, you will be missed by all. Rest well xox."

A fundraiser has since been set up to help with funeral expenses and to support Ms Bunker's family.

Describing the 20-year-old as "one of the most vibrant, caring and beautiful souls this earth has ever see", the GoFundMe page has raised more than £8,200 in 24 hours.

One donor wrote: "So dreadfully sad that such a beautiful girl, who was a good friend to my son at school, has had life snatched away. Rest in peace beautiful girl."
