KCCI gets new president

MANGALURU: Shashidhar Pai Maroor has been elected as the president of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) here. He was elected at the 81st annual general meeting of members of the chamber on Thursday.

The other office-bearers for the year 2021-22 included M Ganesh Kamath, vice-president, Abdur Rahman Musba, honorary treasurer and Nissar Fakeer Mohammed and Ananthesh V Prabhu were elected as honorary secretaries.

Divakar Pai Kochikar, NitteYathiraj Shetty, B A Nazeer, Amith Ramachandra, Aditya Padmanabha Pai, P B Ahmed Mudassar, Athmika Amin, Anand G Pai, Jeethan Allen Sequeira, Nandagopal Shenoy, Ashith B Hegde and Vincent Cutinha were elected as directors.
