KCB starts 6-bed ICU at its hospital

PUNE: The Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) has started a six-bed intensive care unit (ICU) at its Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Cantonment Board Hospital.

As many as 20 dedicated staffers, including five doctors and nurses, have been hired for it. Dr Ranjit Bhonsle, resident medical officer, told TOI, “It will be relief for the residents of the cantonment area. We get around 30 patients requiring ICU treatment in a month.”
