Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his special 80th birthday today (October 11). The legendary actor, who is currently seen as a host on Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, will be joined by wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan on tonight's special episode that was shot just a few weeks ago.
Sharing more about it, Abhishek Bachchan penned a note on Instagram revealing that 'it took a lot of secrecy, a lot of planning, a lot of hard-work and a lot of rehearsals to get it right. But then again, he deserves no less!'
The actor added, "It was very emotional to be able to surprise dad and celebrate his 80th Birthday at the place he loves the most, his workplace."
Abhishek thanked the channel and the entire team of KBC for helping him make the episode that will be aired tonight special for his father. He also shared some BTS moments of his rehearsals with the team.
Tonight's episode is going to see many emotional moments. Jaya and Abhishek will reveal tidbits about Big B that will make everyone including him teary-eyed. The fun chat between Jaya and Big B is also something the viewers can look forward to.

The special episode will see Big B donning his favourite colour - Black.
His stylist exclusively spoke to ETimes TV and revealed, "Black is Amitabh Sir's one of the favourite colours, so I have given him a black, silvery textured jacket with a tie with a nice accessory brooch. That is going to be his look for his birthday special episode."
