Kaye Adams approached by police officer at COP26 who thought she was 'dodgy'

Loose Women star Kaye Adams was approached by a police officer who thought she was 'dodgy' while filming at COP26.

The Climate Summit kicked off in Glasgow this week as world leaders and famous faces travelled to attend.

Presenter Kaye, who lives in the city with her partner and two kids, was filming the crowds flocking to the event on her Instagram stories.

She walked along the streets and told fans on the video: "You are now entering UN Territory #COP26."

"It's great to see people from all over the world supporting the convention."

Turning to the conference centre, she added: "Amazing to think the future of the planet is being discussed behind these turnstiles."

Her final video showed police officers standing outside the building as she continued to walk along, before Kaye could be heard off-camera saying "What, are you alright?".

Much to her surprise, she was approached by a plain clothed officer who queried why she was filming.

Kaye captioned an updated post: "Just slightly concerned to be stopped and questioned by a plain clothes police officer who thought I was dodgy," followed by shocked face emojis.

She then took to Twitter to share the experience with her 81,000 followers, writing: "Just got stopped and questioned by a plain clothes police officer near #COP26 for acting ‘surreptitiously’. Never been accused of that before!"

One of her followers replied: "Were you being suspiciously surreptitious?"

She replied: "Secretive filming apparently. I had my secretive iPhone in my secretive hand."

Another follower replied to Kaye: "What were you wearing Kaye?"

She comedically replied: "A Spiderman outfit. What’s your point caller?"

The same user replied again: "You slammed their fashion as ‘plain clothes’ just wondered if you’d been guccied up as per."

Another follower commented: "You were not doing it very well if the officer noticed you."

A third penned: "Ooh err! Hope you are OK though xx."
