Sky News veteran Kay Burley and former Newsnight rottweiler Jeremy Paxman may have been rivals in the past – but it appears that at least one of them has buried the hatchet. The Daily Mail reports that Burley tackled the rehearsals for Cameron and Miliband: the Battle for Power, to be broadcast by Sky and Channel 4 on Thursday, with typical vigour. A source told the paper: “Kay looked a bit anxious as she walked into the studio and found Paxman sitting glumly in the audience seats. She walked up and said, ‘On your feet, big guy, and give me a snog.’” Monkey notes that Burley managed to compose herself enough to look poised in the resulting publicity shots.
