Kawhi Leonard saved the Raptors’ season for the second Sunday in a row

Kawhi Leonard did it again.

For the second straight Sunday, Leonard, who is one of the best players in the world, did just about everything that needed to be done yet again to led the Toronto Raptors to a Game 3 double-OT, 118-112 win over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks.

The win makes it a series again, with Milwaukee leading 2-1. A loss on Sunday would have pretty much been the end for the Raptors but now they have new life heading into Tuesday night’s Game 4.

And they should all thank Leonard, who scored a game-high 36 points in a game-high 52 minutes.

Just look that night Leonard had:

He also did it on the defensive end where he often guarded Giannis, who finished with just 12 points in 44 minutes before fouling out in the beginning of the second OT.

Oh, and Leonard seemed to do it all on a bum left left, as he was seen grimacing a few times in the game, including after a late dunk that electrified the arena. Leonard wouldn’t give any details after the game about his leg injury but it didn’t seem to slow him down at all.

This all comes just one week after Leonard hit the biggest shot in franchise history. Now he has them back in a series and just three wins away from a trip to the NBA Finals.

He came up huge all night, but especially in the second overtime.

There was this dunk, where he grimaced after, that was sneaky powerful:

Then shortly after that there was this steal and slam:

Then there was another huge bucket in the final minute:

Now we go to Game 4 where he’ll have to do it all over again for the Raptors to have a chance against Giannis and Co.

Will Leonard have enough left in the tank to make this even more of a series?

If the past two Sundays are any indication, the answer to that question has to be yes.
