Kawhi Leonard not expected to have any minutes restrictions vs. Lakers

The Fun Guy for the Los Angeles Clippers is expected to go full boar in Tuesday night’s season opener against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Recently signed free agent forward Kawhi Leonard will not have a minutes restriction in Tuesday night’s game, according to The Athletic’s Jovan Buha. Some have speculated about what Leonard’s role might be for the Clippers this season in terms of his workload after his first season with Toronto pushed the term “load management” into vogue.

But it sounds like fans will get what they are looking for on Tuesday as Leonard will face off against LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

The Battle for L.A. is the center-stage for the NBA this season but one of the factors people are trying to weigh is Leonard’s history with load-management as well as the multiple shoulder surgeries for Paul George, which have kept him out of full-contact drills all preseason.
