SHIZUOKA -- Now is about the best time to see the Kawazu-zakura cherry trees, which are known to bloom early, in Kawazu, Shizuoka Prefecture. "The scenery along the river is also nice," said a 32-year-old man who was visiting from Nerima Ward, Tokyo, with his wife.
