Kawasaki Is Unveiling Its New Adventure Motorcycle Tomorrow

We've been waiting, patiently and sometimes not patiently, for Kawasaki to finally lift the veil off its much-teased new adventure motorcycle, the KLE. Little is known about the new and upcoming platform, and its subject to much speculation.

Some say it's something based on the KLR given its name. Some say it's a new 500cc platform. Some say that we don't know anything and any sort of speculation is idiotic. Wait, that might've been us? Whatever the case may be, I'm here to inform you that Kawasaki is finally showing the new KLE off to the public, ahead of EICMA next month, tomorrow.

Yep, the wait is finally over, and we're absolutely stoked to see what this motorcycle is. We need it. We yearn for it. We're over here trying to be patient, but enough's enough!

The final teaser video is a minuscule 17 seconds long, and only has a single line for its description, stating, "The next horizon is closer than you think. 24.10.25." For those of you in the United States like I am, that date code is the one every other civilized country uses, as it's day, month, year. That means that on October the 24th, 2025, we'll see the KLE in the flesh.

And what we get from the video isn't much different than what we've seen in the other teasers. You get a shot from behind the bike rolling through some dusty fire road trails in what appears to be the Pacific Northwest, a shot of the motorcycle in profile and obscured by the setting sun with the words "Life's a Rally. Ride It.", and a KLE name-drop with the year 1991, which speaks to the original KLE500.

Maybe there was some truth to that 500cc displacement theory?

Whatever the case may be, we're tantalizingly close to seeing what this new Kawasaki KLE actually is, what engine it uses, how much horsepower it's got, what sort of suspension it's running, and whether or not it'll be a match for all the gnarly roads and trails we all love to enjoy on public lands. I, honestly, can't wait.
