Kawasaki Frontale have confirmed Shin Yamada's exit ahead of his move to Celtic.
The Parkhead club have been closing in on the Japanese attacker for some time now but he has been on international duty, slowing the deal down.
However, he has now returned to his club to say goodbyes and will become a Celtic player imminenently.
The J-League side have announced the 25-year-old is on his way out to join a European club, stopping short of naming Brendan Rodgers' side.
Yamada is due to address Frontale's supporters after they take on SC Sagamihara in a cup match today.
