The two-day Indian Premier League (IPL) auction began at the Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, where the officials and owners of the 10 teams camped up to bid and complete their respective squads heading into the league's 18th edition next year.
After spending from their total purse of INR 120 crore to retain players out of their 2024 roster, the teams strategized according to the money left in the bank and the skill-set their respective coaching set-up is targeting.
