The latest ‘Shandaar Shukravaar’ episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 became a memorable moment for host Amitabh Bachchan, who has been the most important part of it for as many as 21 years.
Crossing this huge milestone made him remember the time when he decided to sign the show, which made him emotional as he reminisced about his time on the show.
Mr Bachchan talked about his journey on KBC when daughter Shweta Bachchan asked how he feels about completing this milestone of 1000 episodes. Answering the question, the legendary Bollywood actor revealed that he decided to move from films to television during the low phase of his acting career.
Big B revealed that it was when he wasn’t getting any films that he decided to do TV and host Kaun Banega Crorepati. However, it was not in any haste and was a well-contemplated decision, he added.
The actor shared that he asked the team to show him how the show would be and what it would be like. He further added that he went to watch ‘Who wants to be a billionaire’ to understand its concept. Mr Bachchan further shared how he asked the team to create a similar environment to make the show successful.
Later, he watched his magnificent journey with and on the show. He got extremely emotional and teary-eyed. “Bhavuk kar diya, kya bolein nishabd ho gaye hain,” he said.
During his conversation with Shweta and Navya, he expressed how Kaun Banega Crorepati has changed his life forever. “Asa lagta hai duniya badal gayi,” he stated.
