Katya Jones 'DROPPED from main Strictly Come Dancing line-up amid Seann Walsh kissing scandal'

Strictly Come Dancing's Katya Jones has reportedly been dropped from the show's main line-up following the storm over her kiss with dance partner Seann Walsh.

Media reports have suggested she will be made a reserve on this year's show - making way for her husband, Neil - following the negative publicity surrounding the off-air kiss last year.

However, a Press Association show source countered the reports, saying no decision has been made on Ms Jones's future.

The source insisted Strictly's professional dancers are not decided until much later in the year, when the celebrities are also confirmed for the BBC show.

It said: "It's all speculation. Partners are never decided until nearer the time. This is all speculation."

Ms Jones and Mr Walsh apologised for their off-screen conduct following revelations of the kiss.

Media reports have suggested Ms Jones will be made a reserve for the main line-up, making way for her husband, Neil (PA)

The pair made it to week six of last year's show, when they endured a "dance of shame", according to judge Craig Revel Horwood.

Mr Walsh has referenced the episode in his stand-up comedy.

Representatives of Ms Jones have been contacted for comment.
