Singer Katy Perry has dazzled fans online as she posted a behind the scenes photo in a mermaid costume whilst on set for an advert she is shooting with the company Resorts World.
The 36-year-old singer appeared lounging on a folding chair in what looked like a warehouse, but still fully made up for the shoot.
The album was posted to Instagram and received nearly 900k likes from Perry’s fans.
Perry had teamed up with her fellow judge from American Idol Luke Bryan in the evocative new ad for new Resorts World hotel in Las Vegas.
Her hair had been done by stylist Jesus Guerrero, and her make up by Michael Anthony, both of which reflected the oceanic theme of the shoot.

The pictures feature Katy lounging on folding chairs and crates of LED lights in her stunning mermaid outfit, creating a striking image.
The star-studded ad also featured appearances from Celine Dion and Carrie Underwood, as well as DJs Tristo and Zedd.
The two DJs already have residencies reserved at the Strip Hotel, which is scheduled to open in June.
With the other celebs also in the ad, it’s possible this is a nod that Dion, Perry, and Underwood may have similar residencies lined up at the new hotel.
Celine Dion, also known as ‘The Queen of Vegas’ famously also held a residency there for 16 years.
Billboard has already reported that Perry is planning a residency at the new resort for this year and next year.
Previously married to comedian Russell Brand, Perry is now engaged to actor Orlando Bloom, with the couple having their first child Daisy Dove last August.
