Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are reportedly set to 'postpone' any thoughts of marriage so that they can have children.
The 35-year-old pop star got engaged to 42-year-old Hollywood actor Orlando in February and there were thoughts that wedding bells wouldn't be too far in the future.
UsWeekly has reported that the pair are prepared to wait a little longer to tie the knot, so that they could walk down the aisle with a little one in tow.
Orlando has spoken recently about his desire to have children with Katy.
He said: "I really want to enjoy family and friends, my beautiful son, and have more kids."
Making his intentions clear, he added: "I want to make sure when I embark on that, it’s with my heart full and very clear about the reality of what that means, as opposed to some romantic idea of what it means to be in a relationship.
"Because I think when you’re younger, we’ve all been sold this Hollywood idea of love and relationships, marriage and kids, and actually, what it really takes is communication and compromise, so life looks like somebody who’s willing to communicate and find joy in the simple and small moments."
A source told Us Weekly that they also want to leave the wedding until they can have the everything that they desire.
The source said: "They changed the timing due to the location they want."
The couple are reportedly planning on having two wedding days with one being a 'local' one for a select group of friends and family.
The other will be a 'destination' wedding that will be Instagram ready and will be everything you would expect from an A-list celebration.
Katy and Orlando hooked up in 2016 and they announced their engagement on Valentine's Day this year.
Katy was previously married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012 but they didn't have any children, which may have a bearing on her wanting to start a family sooner rather than later this time around.
Orlando has previously been married to Miranda Kerr, an Australian supermodel, from 2010 to 2013.
They had a son together, Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland Bloom, on 6 January 2011.
