Katy Perry 's fiancé Orlando Bloom filmed her giving birth, the pop star revealed as she praised her "supportive" partner.
The Firework songstress, 36, proudly welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove into the world in August and she has rarely spoken out about motherhood, until now.
Making an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show, Katy opened up about the labour and what her delivery was like, telling the host all the details about how the Pirates of the Caribbean actor helped.
She gave birth at a hospital in LA and thankfully, he was allowed to be present in the room during the Covid pandemic.
"He was such a great support, we had like a little boombox," she told the host.
"He was there and he was so wonderful and just like holding my hand and looking into my eyes."
She added: "You want to film it but you also want to be present so there's a fine line."
An intrigued Jimmy asked: "Did he film?"
Confirming that the couple had decided to document the precious moment, she responded: "Yeah, he was great, I highly recommend it."
Jimmy then joked: "Is he doing this for others?"
And Katy laughed as she replied: "Yes he should!"
The singer and actor have chosen not to share Daisy's face with the world and have kept her appearance very private since the birth.
It's unknown whether the pair will eventually show her face with fans, but Orlando has previously teased she is his "mini-me" and has her mum's eyes.
He said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show: "It was funny because when she first came out, I was like, 'Oh, it's me! It's a mini-me.'
"And then, fortunately, she got those Katy blues, which was perfect.
"But, then she sort of looks like my mum. So, then I got a little confused because Katy's breastfeeding this mini-me slash my mum.
"Who's she going to look like next?"
Orlando already has a son, Flynn, 10, with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
