Katy Perry has revealed that her daughter Daisy Dove is “everything” she could have wished for in a child and more.
The pop star looked stunning as she graced the cover of the very first issue of LuisaViaRoma’s LVR Magazine.
And the 36-year-old hitmaker was happy to discuss her love for Daisy, who recently celebrated her first birthday.
“She is everything I was ever looking for,” admitted Katy in a candid interview with the publication.
And although the coronavirus pandemic has had devastating affects around the world, Katy made sure of the restrictions on her career to enjoy precious time with her baby she might have otherwise not had.
Katy has enjoyed savouring the moment of being a young mother and that she had the chance to “slow down”.
“I was grateful for the opportunity to be present,” she revealed. “I mean, I still would have been, but I would have had FOMO scratching at me just a hot bit.”
Katy and her actor boyfriend Orlando Broom both have busy work schedules, but that has not stopped the couple from creating special family memories.
“We visit him [Orlando] a lot, and I love carrying her on me or going for walks all day with the stroller,” added Katy.
“In the beginning, I worried about a schedule, but decided I won’t be that mom. All that matters is that everyone is happy.”
Dressed in a striking black dress, Katy looks the picture of happiness as she poses in stylish shots for the publication.
The magazine cover shows the Hot N Cold singer grinning from ear to ear, while the headline simply reads ‘Empress – Katy Perry’.
And although Katy is loving motherhood, she is also keen to entertain her army of supports with some live performances.
The songstress will aim to blow away audiences with her upcoming Las Vegas residency at Resorts World, Play.
She admitted that she was used to “spinning quite a few plates”, but that she needed lots of different passions in her life to satisfy her “constant simulation”.
Katy’s cool cover shoot was done at Capri’s iconic Tiberio Palace.
And the I Kissed A Girl singer looked every bit the huge pop star she is as she bids to make her eagerly-anticipated return to the stage.
