Gemma Atkinson may not have given birth yet but it already has a celebrity fan.
The former Emmerdale actress, who is preparing for the impending arrival with Strictly Come Dancing boyfriend Gorka Marquez, was chatting to international pop star Katy Perry on her Hits Radio Breakfast show on Tuesday and was left rather surpirsed.
Gemma was taken aback when the singer congratulated her on her pregnancy and made a rather extravagant prediction for the unborn baby's future.
Katy, 34, said: "Gemma congratulations, I think your baby is already going to be born a supermodel!
"Cause both you and your partner – you guys, wow. If that baby doesn't come out with a full on modelling contract then I don't know."
A stunned Gemma responded: "Oh my god Katy Perry's wished me congrats! Thank you! I'm such a huge fan!"
The Bury actress is hosting her last week on the show before she heads off on maternity leave and returns in a new role.
Gemma, will leave the Breakfast Show, as will co-hosts Gethin Jones and Dave Vitty, less than a year after its first broadcast.
She announced last week that she will head off on June 7 and when she comes back, she will move to the Drivetime show alongside Wes Butters.
The 34-year-old said: "Very much looking forward to our new show with lots of fun stuff to chat to you all about! In the meantime, it's mum time. (Wish me luck on nappy duty and sleepless nights) ."
