Katy Perry couldn’t resist flashing her engagement ring as she stepped out ahead of her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The singer, 34, looked effortlessly cool as she donned a gold glitter bodycon dress and sunglasses.
She tied the look together by slicking her hair back into her signature quiff, accessorised with large gold hoops.
The outfit notably matched her large gold engagement ring, which holds a large pink stone.
Perry opened up on details of her engagement to fiancé Orlando Bloom during her time on the show.
She told how the British actor proposed on Valentine’s Day after he surprised her with a helicopter flight.
She said: “We went to dinner and I thought we were going to go and see some art after dinner but we pulled up to a helicopter. It was very sweet he asked me to marry him in a helicopter.”
However, Perry also revealed that the proposal didn’t all go to plan as she was forced to pretend she couldn’t see him attempting to pull out the ring box after it ripped his coat jacket.
“I’m still reading this note and he’s pulling out this box that’s too big for his coat pocket and it rips is coat pocket and his elbow goes into the champagne and I’m like ‘No I’m just reading the note, I know you’re not doing anything,’” she explained.
The Witness hit maker also told how US burger chain In-N-Out played a “huge part” in couple’s relationship.
“Actually In-N-Out plays a big role in my life. We bonded over a burger about three years [ago] at the Golden Globes. He stole one off my table, I was sitting with Denzel Washington and he took it. I was like ‘Wait who? Oh you’re so hot! Fine take it!’
“Then I saw him at a party and I was like ‘how are those onions resting on your molars?’ He was like ‘I like you’ and then you know..”
