Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom ‘are trying to find a middle ground' as they 'slowly' plan their wedding

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are "slowly" making plans for their upcoming wedding, according to reports.

The celebrity pair announced their engagement in February with an adorable snap showcasing Perry’s large pink ring.

Despite the pair declaring the romance as being in “full bloom” reports have since claimed the couple are “slowly planning their wedding” and “don’t have a date yet”.

A source told People: “Their past weddings were, of course, very different. They are trying to find a middle ground now.”

Bloom was previously married to model Miranda Kerr, in what was believed to be an “intimate” ceremony.

Perry previously tied the knot to comedian Russell Brand in what was supposedly an extravagant but private showcase.

The insider added: “Orlando always shield away from anything flashy. He doesn’t want a huge, celebrity wedding.

“But they also have many friends that are important to them. They are still figuring out the details. Katy will work with a planner."

The report comes after Bloom joked about getting cold feet about tying the knot to the songstress.

The sweet Instagram post showed Perry teasing the actor on whether he’s “sure” about the upcoming wedding. A playful Bloom shook his head and muttered “no” before grinning.

Earlier this month American Idol judge Perry told how the couple met as a result of American fast food chain In-N-Out Burger.

She revealed that the pair bonded over the popular food at the 2016 Golden Globes after Bloom took a burger from her table, before they were even together.

Perry added that the incident prompted her to approach the star later resulting in the pair hitting it off.
