Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have officially gone public with their growing relationship after being spotted together in Paris.
This is the first time the singer and the former Canadian Prime Minister have been seen in public together since rumours began swirling about their budding romance in July.
The pair were photographed in the French capital as they celebrated Perry’s 41st birthday with a cabaret show.
This comes one day after insiders told Us Weekly that Perry is “really into” the connection.
“Katy is really into it. She's very happy,” the source said.
“She's trying to keep it low-key, and they've spent a lot of private time together. She’s not looking to publicize this relationship.”
They added: “Their friends think they are a good match, but he actually hasn't met a lot of her friends yet.”
The rumours about the duo being romantically linked were sparked in July when they were first spotted together on a dinner date in Montreal.
Perry confirmed her split from fiance Orlando Bloom earlier this year, with whom she has five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom.
Perry had been dating Bloom since 2016 and the two were engaged on Valentine's Day 2019.
Bloom is also father to 14-year-old son Flynn, who he co-parents with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Representatives for the pair confirmed over the summer: “Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.'
Another source added: “Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,' while adding that the separation was not 'contentious.”
Perry was previously married to disgraced comedian Russell Brand between 2010-2012.
Trudeau, who was the Canadian Prime Minister from 2015-2025, also announced his separation from his former wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in 2023.
The couple called it quits after 18 years of marriage, in which they share three kids.
Perry and Trudeau are allegedly trying to navigate their new relationship out of the public eye.
One source told Us Weekly: “They've decided to be much more private about it. They are still speaking and are very interested in each other.”
However, another source said the romance “'isn’t serious” due to Perry being “extremely busy” on her Lifetimes tour.
An insider said: “Justin has made plans to see her when she has downtime in a few weeks when she gets back from her tour in Brazil,
“Katy is taking it day by day but is very open to dating.”
