Last week competing teams met at Soroti secondary school for a week-long football training academy. Each team received football skills training, along with training in leadership and life skills, peace building and conflict management.Photograph: Dan ChungDennis Oriokot. PE teachers from schools in the district also attended the training academy so they can carry on coaching in the weeks leading up to kick-off.
