Katie Taylor is out to make history tonight as she attempts to unify the lightweight division against Delfine Persoon in New York.
Ireland's former European, World and Olympic champion, undefeated in 13 professional fights, will look to add Delfine Persoon's WBC title to her WBA, IBF, and WBO belts as the pair clash at Madison Square Garden.
Fighting in the Big Apple for the fourth time, Taylor will have a sizeable Irish contingent behind her against 34-year-old Persoon - a police officer who has fought only once outside of her native Belgium.
Taylor fights on a stacked card headlined by Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz Jr.
