Katie Taylor, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua signed gloves STOLEN from Dublin boxing club

Several pairs of boxing gloves gifted to a Dublin club by Katie Taylor, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have been stolen.

Former Irish pro boxer Patrick Hyland issued a plea to the public to help return the gloves after the recent incident.

He posted pictures of the pair signed by Fury, and the set signed by Joshua, saying they were robbed from Cobra Boxing Club in Rathcoole, along with a pair given to the club by the Bray Bomber.

He said: "Our boxing club got broken into our special signed gloves from Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua and Katie Taylor were taken.

"If anyone in Dublin is offered these please contact me please!

"I’ve no photo of Katie's one. Please share!"

The alleged theft has caused outrage among the local boxing community.

Former Irish Olympian boxer Ken Egan said: "Absolutely shocking, let’s hope they are returned ASAP!"

Another pro fighter Eric Donovan said: "That's absolutely shocking.

"Hopefully these valuable items are recovered. It's voluntary clubs like this that should be helped not stolen from. Disgusting!"

Monkstown Boxing Club added: "Boxing clubs are at the heart of communities and do so much for so many kids across this country. Hopefully someone knows something about this and gets the stuff returned."
