Katie Taylor shares heartwarming snap with family after unifying world titles

Katie Taylor has one for everybody in the audience by the looks of it as she's posted a pic with a belt for each family member.

The Bray superstar sent out a message thanking fans as she celebrated with family who gave her a helping hand holding all of her belts.

Posting on Facebook she said: "What a gruelling and amazing night at MSG! Dream come true to come away with all the belts. It was a very close fight but mission accomplished!

"Thanks so much to the fans for all the support.

"Today is a day for celebrating with family as UNDISPUTED!"

The Bray woman made history by unifying the lightweight division after a bruising contest at Madison Square Garden last night.

But many boxing commentators thought her Belgian opponent won the fight after two judges scored it 96-94 in Taylor's favour with a third seeing it 95-95.

Former wold champion Carl Frampton, a friend and former sparring partner of Taylor, thought Persoon was very hard done by.

"In my opinion, the judges have got it wrong," said Frampton.

"It is heartbreaking to see Delfine Persoon in tears. I thought she won that fight by miles and that was a disgraceful decision."
