Katie Taylor has been sparring with her nephew Jake McMahon ahead of her world title defence against Miriam Gutierrez this weekend.
The son of Katie's sister Sarah has taken a week off school to help the undisputed lightweight champion prepare for Saturday's fight.
He explained to Sky Sports: "I've been sparring Katie, getting her ready for her fight this weekend.
"It's always going to be hard to train when you're coming up for a fight so she always tries her hardest and they're tough spars."
On how a recent sparring session went, he added: "We'll keep that a secret for me anyway for my reputation. It was a good, tough spar as always and it's always brilliant sparring Katie. She's the best in the world so it's a privilege to be over here.
"She's quick, she's strong, she's brilliant at everything to be honest, technically, speed, strength. She picks her punches lovely. Obviously she is the best in the world."
"There's always room for improvement," he joked. "It's nearly impossible to spar her at times. "
On sparring in the days leading up to the fight, Taylor added: "I always like to get a bit of contact during fight week. Everyone's different I guess. This is an individual sport. What works for one person doesn't work for another boxer, but I always felt like it's beneficial for me to spar during fight week.
"We don't go crazy. It's not a 10-round spar. It's not a 10-round war unless he's [Jake] swinging shots at me, but he's the perfect spar for me and I'm learning all the time with Jake. He's such a promising fighter, technically brilliant. I can't really get any better spar in a fight week for myself."
