Katie Taylor returns home to Ireland for Christmas

Katie Taylor has returned to Ireland to spend Christmas with her family in Bray.

The undisputed lightweight queen took her professional record to 17-0 with a dominant display against Miriam Gutierrez in London last month.

She returned to her Connecticut base after the bout at the Wembley Arena but is now back on Irish soil.

Taylor paid a visit to McSport in Dublin with her belts in recent days and signed a number of boxing gloves.

Commercial Director at McSport, Paul Copeland, posted a number of photos of Taylor online, commenting on them: "Special Day having @katie_t86 in HQ along with all those Belts."

Replying to the post, the champion said: "Great seeing you all Paul!"

Ahead of her November fight, Taylor spoke of how much she was looking forward to getting home to see her family over the festive period.

She said: "I'm looking forward to getting back to Ireland. I'm very, very excited to see family again and I'm so happy to have another fight before Christmas. Then I can just sit, relax and enjoy my time at home."
