Katie Taylor made a young girl's dream come true on The Late Late Toy Show last night.
Boxing fanatic Ella Thompson got the surprise of her life when former Olympic gold medallist Taylor emerged amongst on the set.
Taylor, fresh off beating Christina Linardatou earlier this month to become a two-weight world champion, gave her fan a big hug.
And then pair then had a go on the boxing pads with Taylor praising the budding boxer before gifting the youngster a pair of gloves from her last fight.
It was one of two heartwarming moments from Irish sports stars on the show with Open champion Shane Lowry also making a special guest apperance.
Lowry surprised six-year-old Ella Kenny and gave her a signed flag with a personalised message from his famous victory at Royal Portrush this year.
