Katie Taylor had a savage response for her compatriot Paddy Barnes after the boxer sent her a cheeky birthday message.
The Bray woman turned 33 on Tuesday and among those to send her good wishes was her former Olympic teammate Barnes.
He wrote on Twitter: "Happy birthday Katie Taylor here's that picture from when I knocked out you out and lay down beside you so you didn't feel too bad."
The picture shows the two lying face up in a boxing ring, more than likely after a gruelling sparring session.
Taylor didn't take Barnes' jibe lying down though and responded with a picture of her good friend on his back getting counted out by a referee.
"Haha thanks Paddy," she said. "Here's another picture of when I knocked you out, I didn't feel so bad though."
The quality counter got the approval of fellow fighters Carl Frampton and Michael Conlan, and Barnes admitted: "well done you win this time!"
