Katie Taylor confirms November date for next fight

Katie Taylor will next fight in the ring on November 2 in England.

Neither an opponent or a venue has been announced yet for the Bray boxer, but she will headline the card.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has suggested that Taylor could move up to super lightweight for her next fight before facing Delfine Persoon in a rematch next year.

He told Sky Sports: "I think that is coming. She wants that rematch. I've spoken to Persoon's team. There could be a move up in weight for the next one to challenge the world champion at 140.

"She's got to fight Persoon and at some point her mandatory of the WBA, WBC and IBF. She has to go through all those eventually."

Hearn added that both Amanda Serrano and Heather Hardy have signed deals to fight Taylor.

He said: "Both Serrano and Hardy have signed to fight Katie Taylor if they win.

"That is definitely a fight we are looking at in early 2020 as well so we have to see."
