Katie Price's recent appearance at Porn Idol has inspired her to take on some racier roles of her own, sources close to the former glamour model have claimed.
40-year-old Katie is reported to be very keen to show off her 'hot' new bod after recently treating herself to a body overhaul that included a facelift, tummy tuck, liposuction and a bum lift.
The mum of five, who narrowly avoided bankruptcy last year, is said to be hoping a move into porn could also help boost her finances. But pals fear the decision could threaten Katie's turbulent relationships with her ex husbands, who would be less than impressed by her stripping off for cash.
A source told Closer : "Katie says all the biggest porn stars have hourglass figures, and that if she wants to compete with them, she needs to copy their look to catch casting directors' eyes - which was why she wanted to boost her rear. She's positive that her new body will launch a lucrative porn career and has pointed how well Kim [Kardashian] has done from her sex tape."

Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim is said to have banked £270m for her leaked sex tape in 2007.
Though friends of Katie have warned her that a move into adult material could jeopardise her relationships with the fathers of her youngest four children - Kieran Hayler and Peter Andre.
The insider said: "Katie and Kieran are on good terms - and he still appears on her reality show, My Crazy Life - but he thinks her bum lift is unnecessary. She's also told him about her porn plans, as she loves shocking everyone."
The source added that Katie still gets a kick out of shocking her first love Pete and wants to show him how "'boring' his situation with Emily -[MacDonagh] is in comparison to her fun, carefree lifestyle and remind him of the woman he fell in love with and her sexy curves which she insists he was 'obsessed by'".

It comes after Katie and Peter stunned fans with a rare public exchange on Twitter .
Katie reached out to her ex hubby to say she was sorry for hurting him during her tough year.
"Me and Pete love each other really lol!" she tweeted.
