Katie Price urges Peter and Emily Andre to 'stay safe' amid coronavirus in rare exchange

Katie Price has broken her social media silence with a rare message of support to her ex husband Peter Andre.

The former glamour model , who has been keeping a low profile in recent weeks, took to Instagram to tell Pete to look after himself and his family amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Katie reached out after Peter appeared on Good Morning Britain where he spoke of his struggles with homeschooling.

Peter has also been vocal about the lack of the lack of protective kit for NHS staff and admitted he was sleeping in a separate room to doctor wife Emily.

"Stay safe all of you," she replied along with two love hearts.

Katie has been keeping a low profile on social media after revealing how affected she'd been by the death of Caroline Flack in February.

However, she did make a brief return on Mother's Day where she shared a lovely photo with all five of her children.

"With everything going on in this crazy world right now, I just wanted to come on today to wish everybody a Happy Mother’s Day," she said.

Katie's mum Amy suffers from lung disease Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis , and is thought to be self-isolating.

"Please stay safe everyone, follow the government’s advice, #stayhome and lets #Bekind to each other," Katie advised.
