Katie Price trolled over wanting a ‘bikini body for holiday’ despite being ‘broke’

Katie Price has sparked a backlash online after revealing plans to get a "bikini body" ahead of her upcoming holiday, despite recently telling a judge she would be unable to pay a £1,100 fine.

The former glamour model, who was fined for driving while disqualified and without insurance, was mocked after she promoted a diet shake expressing hopes to get into shape before her getaway.

Speaking in the video, Price said: “I've eaten so much over Christmas, I've put on two stone and that might be because I'm happy but I have not stopped eating but I want to lose some weight but quickly and I will be going on holiday soon and I want a bikini body.”

Her followers were quick to point out that she only recently narrowly avoided being declared bankrupt and claimed she was unable to pay the recent driving fine.

One user wrote: “I wish I was bankrupt maybe I’d get loads of holidays and puppy’s and whatever else she has! Maybe that’s the way forward maybe we are all doing it wrong! Working for a living!”

Another commented: “Holiday?? What happened to being bankrupt?? Some people just get away with everything!”

A third added: “On holiday, thought you were Bankrupt.”

The comments come after Price appeared at Crawley Magistrates Court earlier this month, where she pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance.

Katie Price given fresh ban for driving while disqualified

She had been spotted driving on the A24 near her home in West Sussex on July 25 while her six month driving ban was still in place.

Her defence Paul Macaulay told the court that Price had mistakenly believed that the ban had been imposed after an earlier hearing in January, meaning it would have ended at the start of July, before the incident took place.

She was banned from driving for a further three months and fined £1,100, but reportedly told the magistrate that she would need more time to pay the charge. She was then issued with a 14-day collection order, meaning that the fine must be paid within a fortnight.
