Katie Price has decided to ban celebrity guests and her three ex-husbands from her upcoming wedding to Carl Woods as she wants her big day to be an intimate, family-focused affair.
The former glamour girl, 42, is to marry for a fourth time later this year after Love Island star Carl Woods proposed this spring.
Katie's first wedding to Peter Andre was a star-studded affair with celebrity bridesmaids and so was her wedding to Kieran Hayler, while she married husband number two Alex Reid in a more low-key ceremony after eloping to Las Vegas.
However, Katie is adamant her fourth trip down the aisle is going to be very different.
She told Notebook magazine: "I want the focus on Carl as much as me, this is his special day, too. No wall-to-wall celeb faces. It'll be about us, Carl and our family, coming together as one."
Carl added: "Great food, lots of laughs – fun, top-class entertainment. Expect the unexpected. It will certainly be a day to remember. It will be about our love for each other and sharing that with our closest and our loved ones."
When asked if she'll be inviting her three ex-husbands, Katie declared: "No. They’re exes for a reason."
During the chat Katie also revealed she's going to have to wear trainers on the big day as her feet still haven't healed after she broke them in Turkey last summer.
She broke bones in both feet and underwent several surgeries. She was confined to a wheelchair for weeks, but is now managing to get around on crutches.
Katie also revealed she's planning to legally change her name for the first time after she marries Carl.
She'll ditch her famous surname and officially become Katie Woods.
It's the first time she'll have taken her husband's name after previously deciding against making any changes following her previous marriages.
Katie explained: "I have never changed my surname for anyone – but I’m going to change it legally and be known as Katie Woods. I’m proud of it. It’s going to be a new me and a new era."
Katie met her first husband Peter Andre in the I'm A Celebrity jungle in 2004.
The pair went on to marry and have two children, Princess and Junior, before they split in 2009.
She went on to marry second husband Alex Reid un Las Vegas a year later, and her third, Kieran Hayler, in 2013.
The telly star had two more kids with Kieran, Jett and Bunny, before their marriage crumbled in 2018. She is also mum to son Harvey, 18, from her relationship with Dwight Yorke.
Pete married fame-shy doctor Emily MacDonagh in 2015 and they are now parents to two children, Amelia and Theo.
