Katie Price to appear in court after car crash near her home

Katie Price has been charged following a crash near her home in Sussex yesterday.

The 43-year-old TV personality will appear in court today (Wednesday).

The single-vehicle collision happened on Tuesday on the B2135 near Partridge Green, Horsham.

A Sussex Police statement said: "Katie Price, 43, of Worthing Road, Horsham, was charged with using a motor vehicle on a public place without third party insurance and driving whilst disqualified.

"She was remanded in custody and will appear at Crawley Remand Court on Wednesday (September 29)."

The charges comes after Katie's family yesterday posted a statement on her Instagram account about the state of the star's mental health.

They posted three photos explaining that their "worst fears almost came true".

They mentioned that they are "deeply" concerned about her and that despite living her life publicly, many think she is "fair game".

Katie is currently without a driving licence after being banned from getting behind the wheel of a car after being slapped with a two-year driving disqualification in October 2019.

The star served an 18-month disqualification after withholding the identity of the driver of her pink Range Rover during a crash.

She then was told to serve another six months off the road when she called DVLA for her new licence, due to another speeding offence.
