Katie Price thinks Meghan Markle was banned from getting help as it 'wouldn't look good'

Katie Price is convinced Meghan Markle was banned from getting help because of how it would look.

The mother-of-five compared her struggle to that the Duchess of Sussex who recently opened up about her battle with her mental health during her bombshell Oprah chat.

Meghan told the world Palace officials had refused to get her outpatient treatment when she voiced her darkest thoughts: "I didn’t want to be alive anymore."

Now the former glamour model, 42, threw her support firmly behind the pregnant star as she said: "I've been there, I've been there!"

All she had was heaps of sympathy.

Admittedly Katie, who previously got help and checked into The Priory, said it "probably wouldn't have looked good" if Meghan had been able to get help.

During podcast That's After Life! with Dame Esther Rantzen and Adrian Mills, the businesswoman shared her opinions on Meghan Markle and her Oprah chat.

She said: "Well I've been through it and I know and unfortunately mental health is an illness you can't see on the outside, it's on the inside.

"She's had character assassination from the media. I've been there, I've been there!

"I still go through it now, just been looking at stories that are absolute rubbish.

"With the Royal family, of course, they have people who put out statements. She probably did ask for help. Probably wouldn't have looked good going to The Priory."

Katie has had gruelling experiences in the limelight herself and could completely sympathise.

Meghan and Prince Harry quit Royal life in 2018 and set up their family across the pond in Canada before moving to Los Angeles when the coronavirus pandemic unfolded.

They have their second baby on the way, a little girl, and they raise their son Archie at their lovenest among their celebrity neighbours.

It's believed Meghan and Harry haven't had the chance to get to know all their neighbours as some are already moving out.

Actor Rob Lowe's former home, which is within walking distance of Meghan and Harry's new abode, was apparently placed on the market for a whopping $22.5million, according to Forbes.
