Katie Price thanks fans after Harvey documentary viewers were crying 'happy tears' and full of praise

Katie Price has thanked fans for their 'incredible' feedback to her documentary with son Harvey.

The former glamour model and her 18-year-old son's doc, Katie Price: Harvey and Me, aired on Monday night on BBC One.

It followed Kate as she looked for a residential college for Harvey and saw him visit possible choices.

The doc also focused on Harvey transitioning into adulthood, including a move from Great Ormond Street Hospital, as he turned 18.

Harvey suffers from partial blindness, Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, and learning and behavioural difficulties, as a result of a rare genetic disorder.

Viewers were able to see how Harvey is affected by his various conditions and the challenges Kate faces as a mum.

But viewers were full of praise for them both and were even left in tears.

"Watching Harvey and Me and I’m thinking @KatiePrice really doesn’t get enough credit for what a fantastic single mother she is to all her children," tweeted one.

Another said: "Rather emotional watching this. I want to give Harvey a big hug. The love they have for each other. Can't knock Katie at all."

A third added: I loved watching that. I’m in tears. Harvey is such a gorgeous human. And you can see the bond you have. All the best to Harv in his next chapter."

"Say whatever you want about @KatiePrice but she’s an absolutely amazing mum! You can really tell how much Harvey loves her. Breaking my heart," a fourth commented.

A fifth added: "These are happy tears  #harveyandme @KatiePrice thanks for giving us a glimpse of this remarkable relationship. I hope Harvey gets his place at that college.."

Katie, who has four other children, commented after the programme: "I wanted to say thank you so much to @bbcone, @Minnow_Films and the general public for all your support in the lead up to #HarveyandMe and the incredible feedback tonight.

"This really has been such an amazing journey for Harvey and myself, and I want to continue the conversation surrounding the difficulties that parents of children with complex needs face, and help parents going through a similar situation. Thank you all so much."
