Katie Price begs sick fans not to touch her as she breaks cover amid coronavirus fears

Katie Price begged fans with colds to stay away from her at at her make-up masterclass this weekend amid fears over the coronavirus.

The former glamour girl, 41, returned to the spotlight to host her latest cosmetics event in London on Saturday night.

She usually ends the classes by allowing all the fans in the audience to take a picture with her.

But this time, Katie asked anyone who had a cold or didn't feel well to keep their distance.

She explained she was planning to see her mum the following day and didn't want to pass on any germs as Amy Price is battling a chronic lung condition.

One of the fans in the audience was beauty blogger Eltoria, who explained Katie didn't want to get close to anyone who was sick.

In a video review of the event, she said: "She [Katie] did kindly request with regards to the photo at end if people have a cold or didn't feel well don't get close to her...

"As she's seeing her mum the next day and as we know her mum's not very well.

"And I totally respect that and of course with the coronavirus at moment, everyone was like, 'Yeah that's fine'."

Katie's masterclass on Friday marked her return to public life since stepping out of the spotlight three weeks ago.

It also comes after her ex-husband Peter Andre found himself at the centre of coronovirus fears after posters warned fans not to touch him at an event in Southampton earlier this month.

Peter later denied he'd ordered the signs to be put up, declaring: "Ok this must be a wind up because I hugged Everyone I met."

The signs read: "Due to the recent cases of the coronavirus please DO NOT have any physical contact with Peter Andre.

"Please DO NOT take any selfies with Peter Andre. Apologies for any inconvenience. Thank you."

"People were saying to me that they had been told not to touch me and that there were signs.

"I thought they were joking. Brilliant. I am now officially a diva without being a diva."

He concluded the post joking: "On a serious note though don’t touch me".
