Katie Price has been surprised to find out that Kieran Hayler is expecting his third child through the media.
The former glamour model, 42, was married to entertainer Kieran, 33, from 2014 until they separated in 2018.
Katie's ex-husband announced he is expecting his third child with his new fiancée Michelle Penticost on Monday.
Kieran and Katie recently finalised their divorce earlier this month and have been co-parenting their children Jett, seven, and Bunny, six.
However, despite their good terms, Katie did not discover he was expecting a half-sibling for Jett and Bunny.
A source had told The Sun : "Katie was shocked as they're on good terms and she thought that he'd give her the heads up before going public."
Katie's representative then confirmed to the paper that Katie had indeed not been informed before Kieran went public.
The rep added: "Katie was not aware of the news until she was notified of today's headlines."
Representatives of Katie Price and Kieran Hayler both declined to comment on this story when approached by The Mirror.
Kieran first got together with fiancée Michelle in 2018 and recently revealed the moment he proposed to his partner in the Maldives.
He said in an Instagram clip: "Best decision I have ever made. I love you!!!!! Looking forward to the future and what it brings us as a couple, a partnership and a team. [three heart emojis]".
The pair went on to announce in OK! that they are expecting their first child together.
Prior to her marriage to Kieran, Katie had been married to second husband Alex Reid from 2010 to 2012.
Before her marriage to Alex, Katie had been in her first marriage with pop star Peter Andre from 2005 to 2009, with whom she shares son Junior Andre, 15, and daughter Princess Andre, 13.
Katie's eldest son Harvey Price, 18, who she shares with former footballer Dwight Yorke.
Now in a relationship with former Love Island star Carl Woods, Katie has made no secret of hopes for more children with her current partner.
