Katie Price could face a fine as she films inside court after getting second driving ban

Katie Price may find herself in hot water once again after she posted a video she had filmed from inside court.

Price, 40, hit out at the media for waiting outside Crawley Magistrates Court ahead of her hearing on Wednesday morning, telling fans their presence wasn’t ‘necessary’.

The former glamour model posted a video of a line of photographers standing outside the entrance alongside the caption: “Is this necessary.”

It is an offence under Section 41 of the Criminal Justice Act 1925 to take photos inside court without permission.

Price pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance. She was banned from driving for three months and fined £1,100 for the offences.

The former Loose Women panellist was spotted driving on the A24 on July 25 while her six-month driving ban was still in place.

She was phoned by a newspaper informing her she had breached the ban which police later confirmed.

Paul Macaulay, defending, said Price had mistakenly believed the ban had been imposed from an earlier hearing in January - which meant it would have ended in early July, before she got behind the wheel.

The court was told she had not contacted the DVLA about reinstating her licence because she was “not the best” at paperwork.

Price is awaiting a second trial at Bexley Magistrates Court on February 25 for another motoring offence.
