Katie Price shows off 'mangled' broken feet as surgeons say injury is worse than they feared

Katie Price has given her fans a glimpse of her broken feet out of their casts as she revealed surgeons say her injury is worse than they feared.

In her newest YouTube video, which was filmed the day of her surgery last week, Katie got her old casts removed as she prepared to go under the knife.

The former glamour model, 42, broke her feet while on holiday to Turkey after she jumped off a wall that was higher than she thought.

As the surgeon pulled the plaster away her feet looked bruised and swollen.

She was then taken to theatre where surgeons worked for eight hours to mend her feet, before finding they were "mangled".

Katie continued filming for her YouTube video just moments after she came out of surgery.

She explained that because she injured herself three weeks before her surgery it made the surgeons job "harder".

"The registrar, the one that I saw earlier, came in and broke the news to me," she said.

"Unfortunately when they got inside, because they wanted to do keyhole surgery, they were more smashed up and mangled than the x-ray... because it was three weeks ago I did it they've sort of started healing.

"It made their job harder."

Katie has been told she will not be able to walk for three to six months after her injury.

Her full recovery will take up to two years.

Currently she is getting around on a bedazzled Barbie pink wheelchair.

Katie's operation means that she needs to keep all her weight off her shattered feet, and will be wheelchair- and crutch- bound for the next couple of months.
