Katie Price was looking fresh-faced and glam as she sent a good luck message to those taking part in the London Marathon — and she didn’t miss the chance to throw in a bit of her own marathon history too.
Posting to Instagram on Sunday morning, Katie appeared upbeat as she filmed a video wishing all the runners the best of luck. She kicked off by chatting about the boxing match between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn, saying: “Good morning, everyone. What an amazing night, that fight was so good last night. They both did amazing.”
Katie then switched gears to the marathon, telling followers: “But I want to wish all the marathon runners ‘good luck’ today. When I did it, I completed it. Second time I did it, cause I was late, there was no one at the start line so I was very lonely. So then I gave up after about 10 miles or something.” She ended with a cheerful, “But anyway, good luck to everyone.”
Katie’s own marathon efforts haven’t always gone to plan. She famously had to pull out of the London Marathon in 2018 after a knee injury forced her to stop just six miles in. Back then, she was running to raise money and awareness for her mum, Amy, who has idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), and even ran dressed as a giant pair of lungs, reported the Express.
The good luck message comes as Katie continues to recover from her latest round of cosmetic surgery. She recently treated herself to some “tweakments” over in Turkey, following her disappointment with her previous £10k facelift, which she said left her with “pixie ears.”
Updating fans on her recovery, Katie showed off her bandaged nose on social media and admitted: “Good evening everyone. Do you know what? So, I can take all this off my nose, but it feels sore still. So, that is me trying to put the bandage on myself. What a state is that. I’ve proper bodged this up.”
She also shared some rather graphic post-op photos on Snapchat, telling her followers: “From my last surgery, there are just a few little bits that I want tweaking. Well, they need tweaking. So here I am getting ready. That’s the worst bit for me, the needle. The needle’s done so now I can relax.”
It seems Katie is embracing a fresh chapter — new tweaks, new bandages, and, as ever, keeping her fans updated every step of the way.
