Katie Price shares sarcastic joke after breaking both her ankles while on holiday

Katie Price has confirmed she's broken both her feet and ankles in a post on Instagram.

Sharing a photo of both her legs encased in bandaging, Katie said: "Yes it’s true I have broken my ankles and my feet, I have to have both feet operated on and pins put in been told I won’t be able to walk for 3 to 6 months,  @carljwoods  is being amazing looking after me."

The mother-of-five, 42, is currently in Turkey on holiday but is expected to cut her holiday short in order to return home for further treatment.

The glamour model will need to have pins in her feet and won't be able to walk for three to six months.

The Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins contestant is said to have spent the night in hospital on Wednesday after jumping off a wall at a theme park in Turkey and fracturing both heels in the process.

Katie is on holiday with her boyfriend Carl Woods and two of her children, Junior and Princess, as well as Princess' friend.

In her Instagram story, Katie filmed her children as she said: "Are you having a good holiday?"

Daughter Princess, 13, said: "I'm actually having the best holiday ever."

Son Junior, 15, quipped: "Oh, everything is going so well."

Katie laughed and said: "You're so sarcastic."

On the photo of her injured legs, fans sent their well wishes to the reality star.

One fan commented: "Omg hope [you're] ok babe."

Another said: "Oh Katie! Cursed with bad luck you are! Get well soon."

Kim said: "If it wasn't for bad luck you would have no luck at all. Sending best wishes."

Gill said: "Oh no that’s awful , wishing you a quick recovery Katie."

Nicola commented: "Omg get well soon!"

Jenny added: "That’s awful. I’m so sorry."

Katie's eldest son Harvey, 18, has recently experienced health issues which resulted in him having to miss the holiday to Turkey.

Last year, Katie made the tough decision to send him to live at a residential care home after she struggled to cope.

Harvey often comes home, mainly on weekends and in the school holidays.

During an emotional appearance on This Morning, Katie said: "He is now six foot two, 24 stone and he's still growing and he kicks off.

"I love him so much, he's my absolute life, but he's just hard work now. "[It's] only Monday to Friday. Every weekend and holidays I will have him."
