Katie Price shares moment she met the Queen with Harvey after paying tribute to Her Majesty

Katie Price shared the moment she met the Queen with her son Harvey.

The mum-of-five reposted a picture showing Her Majesty greeting staff and patients at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London in 2007.

Sharing the snap on Harvey's official Instagram, and to her 2.6million followers via her story, Katie penned a flurry of heart emojis next to the special memory.

It comes on the day of the late monarch's state funeral and reality TV star Katie had already posted a touching tribute earlier in the day.

The latest upload shows Queen Elizabeth II shaking hands with Katie, who attended the event with her mum Amy around 15 years ago.

Also in attendance was her then-husband Peter Andre and their son Junior.

Her Majesty was meeting hospital staff and patients, including now 20-year-old Harvey who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome.

Katie previously posted the same snap on the Queen's 95th birthday in 2021. At the time she wrote "Happy birthday, Queen Elizabeth" alongside the picture.

Today marks the day of Her Majesty's funeral following her death, aged 96, on Thursday, September 8. She was Britain's longest reigning monarch, reigning for 70 years in total.

Paying tribute earlier in the day, Katie shared a video which was originally posted on the Royal Family's page which showed the Queen through the years.

She also reposted an illustration by Murphy's Sketches which showed a corgi sat on a picnic blanket with 'Goodbye your majesty' written underneath.

Alongside the sweet illustration, there was a caption that said: "And thank you, for everything #murphyssketches"

Some people commented on the photo, saying how sweet the message was.

One person wrote: "Thank you for sharing this beautiful illustration," followed with a red love heart emoji.

As another said: "Aw this is so beautiful," with someone adding: "Another beautiful sketch."

A fourth person commented: "I haven’t cried at all since hearing that the queen had passed, but this right here got me."

Since her death, thousands of people have paid tribute to the late monarch as well as thousands queuing for hours to see the Queen lying in state in Westminster Hall.

At her funeral, the royal family walked in procession behind the Queen’s coffin as it was carried through the church by the military bearer party.

The service follows the Queen’s lying in state period at Westminster Hall, which ended at 6.30am. This saw thousands of people queuing for up to 24 hours.

Chrissy Heerey, who was the last member of the public to leave the Hall, said: "It’s one of the highlights of my life and I feel very privileged to be here."
