Katie Price 'scraps personal delivery service' after fans contact police

Katie Price scrapped a plan to make her own deliveries to fans who bought her bath bombs after being reported to police, despite not breaking any rules.

The former glamour model had shared the plan on Thursday, revealing in an Instagram video for her range Scented by Katie Price that she'd be personally delivering orders to a selection of lucky fans.

She said she'd be wearing a mask and observing social distancing throughout, which Katie's rep confirmed.

"This was a delivery service with a personal touch to lift morale," her rep told us, "all socially distanced and Covid-safe."

Despite deliveries being allowed as essential work under Covid-rules, Katie's now opted to connect with her fans via a video call instead.

A source told The Sun : "Police went round yesterday and spoke to Katie and Carl about essential travel and what is within the rules and what isn't.

"Katie hasn't done anything wrong – she was working – but it sounds like her own fans reported her for the trip to Sheesh [a restaurant] and for driving around surprising people who'd bought her bath bombs."

The star has now been busy advertising the opportunity on her Instagram Stories, writing: "Order my bath bombs tonight & I could be video calling you tomorrow!"

Carl hit out at haters on social media (Instagram)

Boyfriend Carl Woods had earlier accused followers of "wasting police time" after he and Katie were reported to police for picking up a takeaway meal.

Yesterday, Carl fumed in a video: "I just had the police back at the door again.

"This time because we had Sheesh takeaway last night and someone reported us saying it's 'unessential' that we went to Sheesh to get takeaway.

"What is wrong with you people? You're just wasting police time."

"I'm just going to carry on, living the way I live and so is Kate because we're doing nothing wrong," he added.
