Katie Price says son Harvey remains in intensive care with 'complex medical condition'

Katie Price said her son Harvey remains in intensive care with a "complex" medical condition after being rushed to hospital on Sunday.

The 18-year-old was reportedly struggling to breathe and was said to be at risk of organ failure.

Posting an update on Instagram on Tuesday, Katie said: "I’ve left the hospital for the evening and can confirm Harvey is still in intensive care & medical condition remains complex.

"I love him so much, he is so brave and a fighter."

The TV star said Covid-19 has meant she has been unable to be with Harvey at his bedside and there are limited visiting hours at the hospital.

However, the family is staying in contact via FaceTime calls.

Earlier in the day she said he was now feeling "more comfortable".

"I’ve let him know he has so much love and support and thank you," she wrote.

Harvey was said to have a high temperature and was struggling to breathe when he was taken to hospital by ambulance on Sunday.

Katie praised the ambulance service and hospital staff for their "quick response" and for "making him stable".

This is Harvey's second health scare in recent weeks after he fell ill at his sister Princess' 13th birthday party and was taken to hospital.

He has a number of health conditions including Prader-Willi Syndrome and partial blindness. He is also on the autistic spectrum.
